William (Wil) G. Slagle

Wil’s roles include general management, bank relations, and equity and debt structuring.  Prior to Landology, Wil was the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NHB Holdings, Inc. and the founder and Director of Proficio Bank.  NHB Holdings, Inc. is a Federal Reserve regulated bank holding company and parent of Proficio Bank, an FDIC-insured commercial bank.  Wil was instrumental in raising over $45 million in equity during the company’s formation, which later put its new bank into the top 2% of all de novo bank capitalizations in the U.S.  Prior to starting NHB Holdings and Proficio Bank, Wil worked as a consulting analyst with Trinity Capital, a large hedge fund and earlier as a management consultant for Raymond James Capital, a private equity fund.  Earlier in his career, Wil managed business development at Express Scripts (NASD: ESRX).  Responsibilities included managing a $100 million product offering and assistance in building two de novo operating divisions, both of which were later sold, one through IPO and one via private sale.  Wil received a B.A. in Economics, Finance and Banking from the University of North Florida and has completed programs at Tufts and Harvard.  Wil is actively involved in the Jacksonville community and was a member of the Jacksonville Super Bowl XXXIX Host Committee and the Chairman of the Board of The Jacksonville Urban League Foundation.
